Frank – 6-Year-Old Cocker Spaniel Looking for His Forever Home
It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for Frank due to unfortunate changes in our circumstances. This decision has not been made lightly, and we are determined to find him a home that can give him the time, consistency, and lifestyle he deserves.
Frank is a 6-year-old neutered Cocker Spaniel with all the typical traits of the breed. He is intelligent, enthusiastic, and loves having a job to do. He particularly enjoys walks and learning new things, making him a rewarding companion for someone who enjoys training and engaging with their dog.
Frank would need to be the only dog in the home, as he does not get along with other dogs. He can also be reactive to dogs when out and about, so his new owner will need to be confident in managing this and willing to continue his training. Despite this, he is very responsive and enjoys working with his handler.
Like many Cockers, Frank is highly food-motivated and will happily scrounge for any opportunity to find a snack. He is not possessive around food, but he has previously snatched food from children, so we feel he would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand boundaries around food.
Frank is a loving, loyal boy who forms strong bonds with his people and has so much to offer the right home. We are looking for someone who can provide him with the structure, understanding, and attention he needs to thrive.
