Description
Due to the loss of land, I have made the heartbreaking decision to find Roman a new home. This is through absolutely no fault of his own, and finding him the right home is my priority.
Roman is a kind, affectionate gelding who loves people. He enjoys being groomed, fussed over, and is always the first to come over for attention. He has a lovely temperament and is a pleasure to have around.
He has three balanced paces, moves well, and has plenty of athletic ability. I believe he has the potential to excel as a dressage, eventing, or quality all-round horse with further education. He enjoys having a job and is a rewarding horse to work with.
Being only 5 years old, he is still learning and can occasionally be fidgety when asked to stand for long periods. He also lacks confidence with people he doesn’t know picking up his hind feet, but this is improving with patience and consistency. He has never kicked, reared, or shown any dangerous behaviour.
A few months ago, Roman had a field accident which resulted in a small splint. He recovered very well and has been gradually returning to work. He is currently having a short break after pulling a shoe off and is waiting for the farrier before continuing his work. This is only a temporary setback.
He will leave with everything I have for him, including:
* Rugs
* Bridle and tack (no saddle)
* Feed
* Grooming kit
* Mucking out equipment
* All of his other belongings
This is an incredibly difficult decision, so please only serious enquiries. More photos, videos, and information are available on request.
