Description
It is with mixed emotions that we are looking for a very special forever home for Bobby, our handsome Goldendoodle boy, born on 20th September 2022.
Bobby was bred by us here at Wootton Fields from fully health-tested parents. His mum is our KC Registered Golden Retriever, and his dad is our KC Registered Miniature Poodle. Both parents have comprehensive DNA health testing with clear results, giving Bobby an excellent start in life.
Sadly, Bobby returned to us through absolutely no fault of his own following a family breakdown. Since then he has remained with us, and although he has lived mainly in our kennels, he has never lost his affectionate, loving nature.
We have recently brought Bobby back into our home, where he has settled beautifully. He has adjusted remarkably well to family life once again, happily relaxing indoors and enjoying being part of everyday life. He has reminded us just what a wonderful house companion he is.
Bobby is a medium-sized Goldendoodle with a stunning rich golden, soft, curly, shaggy coat. He has always been regularly clipped and professionally groomed, is happy being bathed and brushed, and thoroughly enjoys the attention. His coat is a real pleasure to maintain and one of his loveliest features.
He is an exceptionally friendly, happy and affectionate dog who simply loves people. Bobby enjoys nothing more than human company and will happily curl up beside you for a fuss after a day out. He travels beautifully in the car, plays gently with our five-year-old grandson, mixes exceptionally well with our other dogs, and happily lives alongside our five cats.
Bobby enjoys country walks, exploring new places and would make a wonderful companion for someone wanting a loyal family dog to share everyday adventures, holidays, beach walks and cosy evenings at home.
Although Bobby was originally house-trained, he has spent the past year living mainly in our kennels following his return. As with any dog moving from kennel life back into a home, he may need a little patient, gentle guidance while settling back into a household routine. Having watched how quickly he has settled back into our own home, we are confident he will continue to thrive with kindness, consistency and encouragement.
Bobby has sired a couple of litters during his time back with us, but that chapter of his life is now complete. We are looking for a family who simply want him as the much-loved companion he deserves to be.
His health care has always been a priority. He is:
* Fully vaccinated
* Microchipped
* Worming programme up to date
* Flea treatment up to date
* Used to regular grooming and clipping
* Happy travelling in the car
As a puppy, Bobby passed a full veterinary health examination with no heart murmur, healthy eyes, ears and joints, no hernias and both testicles present. Before leaving us, he will undergo a fresh veterinary health examination and his new family will receive a written veterinary health report for complete peace of mind.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly. Bobby deserves more individual attention than we can give him alongside our other dogs, and we know he will flourish in a loving home where he is truly part of the family.
We are in no rush to find Bobby a new home and will only consider genuine enquiries from families who can offer him the love, time and commitment he deserves. Finding the right forever home is far more important to us than making a quick sale.
