Description
Reggie is a handsome 2-year-old male Staffy who has been with us since birth. He is a complicated boy: a total sweetheart with his human family, but highly dog-aggressive outside of the home. Due to a change in our work commitments, we no longer have the time to provide the intensive management and training he requires.
Wonderful with Kids: He lives with four children and is remarkably gentle and patient.
Home Life: He lives peacefully with his mother (our other dog), showing he can bond deeply with "his" pack.
Healthy: Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
Reggie is reactive and aggressive toward other dogs when out. He has a history of attacks and cannot be trusted around strange animals.
He is a powerful puller on the lead.
He requires a handler who is physically strong and experienced with aggressive breeds.
We are heartbroken to let him go, but he needs a home that can guarantee public safety. We are looking for:
An "Only Dog" home (unless you have extensive experience introducing dominant breeds).
A secure, private garden with high fencing where he can run safely.
A dedicated owner who understands the responsibility of owning a dog with a bite history.
Reggie is a "lovely dog" to us, but he is a high-liability pet. We will only release him to someone who proves they have the experience and environment to keep him and the public safe.
