Description
Looking for an experienced tortoise owner to take on our lovely Toby.
We have had Toby for 26 years, when we rescued him we were told he was around 26 years of age.
Every year he hibernates from October to march and he happily goes to sleep in his box in the garage.
He has a small rabbit but hutch in the garden which he loves to go in at night and we lock him in.
He is microchipped.
Sadly he has become a little aggressive and likes to bite, I have three young children and they run from him and hate to go in the garden.
Ideally we feel rehoming him is our only option and possibly maybe an experienced owner could section of part of the garden or not have young children.
We are part of the Tortise Trust and two years ago we paid out for a hormone injection. To see if that helped but it did not.
Please make contact for more information.
This decision has not been taken lightly and I want to be truthful.
Price can be negotiated for the right home.
