πŸ’™πŸΆ WILSON & ALFIE – TWO TINY BOYS READY FOR THEIR NEXT CHAPTER πŸΆπŸ’™ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸΎ UK SURRENDER πŸΎπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ 🏠 LOOKING FOR LOVING FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME 🏠 πŸ“ Currently in foster: Burton-upon-Trent area 🌟 Adoption fee reduced. Together or separately with another resident female dog. RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks insurance provided upon adoption (on request) 🌟 πŸ”„ UPDATE Wonderful news β€” foster found! πŸ’™πŸ’™ A huge thank you to the lovely foster who opened their home to Wilson and Alfie. The boys came into rescue a little underweight, so for now they are enjoying good food, care and some well-deserved stability. 🐾 Meet Wilson & Alfie Wilson and Alfie are 3-year-old Miniature Dachshund boys β€” sweet, affectionate little characters who have lived together since they were 8 weeks old. We had the opportunity to introduce them to our own female dogs when they arrived, and both were friendly and social. ❀️ No even little reaction to those who barked at them- just friendly curiosity. Their previous owner also says they are lovely with people and children. ✨ Highlights ✨ β€’ SIZE: Small – Miniature Dachshunds β€’ NEUTERED: Yes β€’ CHARACTER: Sweet β€’ Loving β€’ Social β€’ Affectionate β€’ DOGS: Friendly, best with female dogs – can be rehomed together or potentially separately to a home with a friendly female dog, ideally another Dachshund β€’ CHILDREN: Reported very good, all their lives lived with children including young β€’ CATS: Unknown β€’ HOME LIFE: Not fully house-trained yet – some marking, which is expected to reduce or stop as they settle following neutering πŸ’” Surrender Story Wilson and Alfie came into rescue following very difficult family circumstances involving domestic violence. Their owner could no longer safely care for them, so they needed somewhere to go urgently. Now they are safe, and we can concentrate on their future. ❀️ 🐾 More About Them Wilson and Alfie are genuinely lovely little boys with people. πŸ’™ They are sweet, social and affectionate, enjoy human company and are very friendly with everyone they meet. Their former owner also reports that they have always been very good with children. The boys have always lived together and their owner described them as friendly to each other, although they do occasionally squabble. Their former owner mentioned some lead reactivity towards other dogs, but from what we have seen, this certainly doesn’t appear to be aggression. Both boys have already proved themselves friendly and social with dogs. It seems much more like typical Dachshund vocal excitement/frustration on lead. πŸΆπŸ’™ I have two Miniature Dachshunds myself, and they can make an enormous fuss when they see another dog on a walk, yet happily welcome new rescue dogs into our home and are extremely social off lead. Anyone who knows Dachshunds will probably recognise the story! πŸ˜„ 🏑 Ideal Home Wilson and Alfie can potentially find their future in TWO ways. πŸ’™πŸ’™ They can be rehomed together, or we can consider separate homes where each boy would have a friendly, well-balanced female dog for companionship β€” ideally a friendly and playful Dachshund girl. 🐢❀️ A secure garden, plenty of human companionship, cuddles and people who understand and enjoy the wonderful β€” and occasionally naughty 😁 β€” Dachshund personality would be ideal. πŸ’ž Wilson and Alfie have already been through a lot of change, but they remain two wonderfully sweet, affectionate little boys with so much love to give. Now safe, neutered and settling into foster, they are ready for the next chapter β€” whether that future is together or each with his own girlfriend. 🐢❀️ Somewhere out there is the right home β€” or perhaps two right homes β€” where these little boys can finally unpack their tiny suitcases for good. πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ’™ 🩺 Health Information Wilson and Alfie are now neutered and are reported to be vaccinated, no known medical conditions. They arrived a little underweight, so need a good quality food. πŸ’Œ If you can offer foster or foster-to-adopt home, please fill out a form: πŸ”— Foster-to-Adopt/Adoption Form : https://forms.gle/vHdDRdjFzXngqzUC9 πŸ”— Foster Form: https://forms.gle/yE66hpgwdU9bnQsAA πŸ“© Already applied before?
