Description

Some dogs are born into warm homes. Others have to wait for someone to show them that life can be kind. COTTON was found alone in a field, in the middle of nowhere. There were no houses nearby, no owner looking for him, no explanation for how such a young little dog had ended up there. And the state he was in told its own story. His beautiful coat was tangled and neglected, he was dirty, full of parasites and desperately in need of care. Thankfully, that was the end of Cotton's old life. ❤️ Look at him now! Under all those knots and dirt was this absolutely gorgeous little boy — fluffy, funny, affectionate and full of character. His wild hairstyle seems to have a mind of its own, and we wouldn't change it for the world. 😂 🐾 ABOUT COTTON 🎂 Date of Birth: 18 November 2025 ♂️ Sex: Male 🎨 Colour: Cream / light golden 🐕 Breed: Mixed breed — a gorgeous little scruffy terrier-type cross ⚖️Weight : less than 6 Kg ! 🐾 Age: Still a youngster ❤️ Temperament: Friendly, affectionate and sociable Cotton is good with everybody and has also been living around other dogs. After everything he experienced before being rescued, it is wonderful to see how readily he has accepted people and begun enjoying life. He is curious, cheerful and has that lovely young-dog enthusiasm for discovering everything around him. 🩺 HEALTH & VETTING Cotton has already come a very long way since his rescue. He has been: 💉 Fully vaccinated 🪱 Treated for internal parasites 🦟 Treated for fleas and external parasites 🧼 Carefully untangled, brushed and cleaned up 🪪 Microchipped He is currently too young to be neutered, so this will need to be done when he reaches the appropriate age. 🩸 Full blood testing will be carried out before rehoming. 🏡 THE HOME WE WANT FOR COTTON Cotton has already known what it means to be unwanted and abandoned. We want the rest of his life to be completely different. We are looking for a loving home where he will be treated as a genuine member of the family — somewhere he can have companionship, walks, playtime, cuddles and, most importantly, the security of knowing that he will never be left behind again. He is young, so his new family must also be prepared to continue his training and help him grow into the wonderful adult dog we know he can become. ❤️ OUR PROMISE TO COTTON When Friends InDeed rescues a dog, our responsibility doesn't end on adoption day. Cotton will have our lifetime rescue back-up. If circumstances ever change, at any point in his life, we will always be there for him. 🏡 Home-check applies and can normally be completed online. 🚐 UK transport can be arranged. 🏴 Scotland transport is normally available approximately once a month. 💷 No payment until you meet Cotton. He was once a little dog sitting forgotten in a field. Now all Cotton needs is the person who will look at that scruffy little face and say: “You're coming home.” 🤍🐾
