Sadly my friend is having to sell her 7 year old Amazon due to no fault of his own. After a nurse visit last week the nurses have unfortunately said that if Haku stays much longer then her mum's condition will rapidly worsen.
I personally have spent alot of time with Haku. He's a sweet boy and craves alot of attention. Loves to sit on your shoulder and demand scritches. He is very tame, He has no aggression but can be stand off ish when it's time for his bed time. He loves to be out but is also happy in his cage. He does like to see people out and about so would be no good with someone who lives alone and works 8 hours plus a day.
Ideally Haku needs to be the only bird as hes a chill guy and doesn't like to be bothered by other birds. He prefers humans and can snap at other birds if they annoy him. He also doesn't like birds on his cage and will try to get their feet. (Which is normal for most birds) If you do have other birds then alot of work will need to be done to find a happy medium that works for all.
Haku will come with his XL cage with all food and toys etc. The only thing that doesn't belong to him is the java tree.
The price isn't really up for negotiation as it's about finding someone who actually wants him and will take care of him. He comes from a loving home and we only want the best for him. The cage itself is £600 plus. Remember he is only 7 and will have alot of years to live so he must go to the most suitable home. Will not be first come first serve unfortunately.
