Description

My favourite black girl has produced the most fantastic litter of working Labrador pups. This isn’t your standard litter of lab puppies, both parents have extensive championship pedigree and phenomenal temperaments to match. The dam is my extensively health tested homebred girl, she is my 6th generation Labrador. So my knowledge of her pedigree is second to none, each one of her predecessors chosen by myself. She is obedient, super loyal and carries the ever popular Drakeshead bloodlines with an enviable FTCH pedigree. The sire is a local extensively health tested younger stud dog, with a FTCH littered pedigree, who will be running his first trials this time round. Lovely steady temperament with huge drive, who is showing immense promise on the trials scene. Despite both dogs being strong working pedigree, neither are ‘busy’, bouncy or need endless entertainment. These puppies will make perfect working dogs or active family pets. They have been brought up in a family home environment, with my two children and other pets. The litter is huge, and contains a real variety. As the puppies get older their individual personalities develop. I am happy for people to choose a pup, however I do like to try and place each pup with the home that bests suits them. So please don’t be offended if I ask quite a few questions about your lifestyle and experience. We have; 5 black bitches - 3 stocky, 2 petite £1800 4 black dogs - 2 stocky, 2 slimbuilt £1500 2 pale yellow bitches - both stocky £1800 2 pale yellow dogs - both stocky £1500 Health Tests: I understand the importance of breeding quality of genetics with sporting ability and trainability. I strive to ensure our puppies are bred for the ‘right’ reasons, to improve & sustain quality within the breed. All of my dogs have working champion pedigrees, they are extensively health tested & DNA tested. I also take time to consider and measure inbreeding coefficiency. Dam Eyes: Clear Elbows: 0/0 Hips: 3/3 DNA ‘clear’ of the following: - HNPK (Hereditary Nasal ParaKeratosis) - SD2 (Skeletal Dysplasia 2) - STGD (Stargardt disease) - CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy) - MCD (Macular corneal dystrophy) - Prcd-PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) Sire Eye: Clear Elbows: 0/0 Hips: 4/4 DNA ‘clear’ for the following: - HNPK (Hereditary Nasal ParaKeratosis) - SD2 (Skeletal Dysplasia 2) - STGD (Stargardt disease) - CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy) - MCD (Macular corneal dystrophy) - Prcd-PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) - EIC (Exercised Induced Collapse) The puppies will be ready to leave from the 20th August. The puppies will be well on their way to grass trained toilet training, be comfortable coming to human voice and successfully following human footfall. Puppies will be weaned onto Purina Proplan Puppy (large athletic) biscuits, and will each leave with a 3kg bag. They will leave with a full wormer & flee programme - panacur 10% 2,4,6,8 weeks. They will have received L4 vaccines and microchips. You will be purchasing a puppy from a fully licenced breeder, who has over 10 years of experience. Giving you the peace of mind that you are purchasing a puppy from a home where we have invested and continue to reinvest back into our canine family. I believe that undergoing the rigour that the licensing process involves, insures that not only are you purchasing a puppy who has been whelped & raised to a very high standard of care, but that I am legally bound by the current Animal Welfare Act 2018.
