She has been our new family member for the last few weeks. She has just turned 3 years old, she is a gentle loving girl and through no fault of her own. She was taken as our senior Great Dane companion. Because their lifestyle is identical - short walks and long time on the sofa. All was fine till our senior started her season. There is no aggression but something is wrong. You can feel the tension. Both are in stress. Simpaties are finished, they do not sleep next to each other on the sofa. She fited our lifestyle perfectly—frequent trips to the seaside and the forest. We’ve also sorted out the feeding arrangements. I hope she does not go for a season now. It can escalate real conflict. I am looking for another family for her, she is a great girl who deserves a new loving family. She is registered and has three generations of pedigree. We do not feel well between them.
