šŸ¾ Border Collie for Rehoming - Jax šŸ¾ It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our 12-month-old Border Collie, Jax. Jax is a bright, intelligent and energetic young dog who would thrive in an active home willing to continue his training and provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. āœ… Crate trained āœ… Basic training completed āœ… Good with other dogs āœ… Can be left alone for 4-6 hours āœ… Up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments Jax comes with: ā€¢Crate ā€¢Bed ā€¢Food bowl ā€¢Remaining food ā€¢Selection of toys Jax has lived with children aged 7 years and above. However, as he is still young and excitable, he can be jumpy and boisterous at times. For this reason, we feel he would be best suited to a home with older children, or children who are used to young, lively dogs. He will chase cats, so a cat-free home is essential. Jax is currently entire. Following veterinary advice, we have not had him castrated as our vet recommended waiting until around 18 months of age. He is microchipped and his chip details will need to be updated by his new owner. Jax would benefit from further loose lead walking training as he can pull, particularly around cars. He is still young and keen to learn, and with consistency and patience we are confident he will continue to make good progress. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and we are looking for the right home rather than a quick sale.
