Description
I am looking to rehome my 8-year-old Motley Ghost Corn Snake, a beautiful example of the popular Corn snake morph. This snake has been well cared for and makes a striking and long-lived pet for the right home.
The Motley Ghost morph gives a soft, muted appearance with silvery greys, smoky tones, and subtle orange highlights, combined with a smooth, reduced “motley” pattern. It is a very attractive and calm-looking snake in person, especially when moving.
In terms of temperament, this snake is generally very calm and handles well once out of the enclosure. However, it does have a strong feeding response and can be food-active when approaching or opening the vivarium. In the last couple of months, it has also shown a strike/defensive feeding pose on occasion, so care should always be taken when feeding or entering the enclosure. Once out and handled properly, it settles and behaves well.
The sex of the snake is unknown and has never been confirmed, so it is being sold as unsexed.
Key details:
* Species: Corn Snake (Motley Ghost morph)
* Age: 8 years
* Sex: Unknown (unsexed)
* Temperament: Calm when handled, but food-responsive and may strike in enclosure during feeding responses
* Feeding: Takes frozen/thawed prey reliably
* Health: Good, no known health issues
* Experience level: Best suited to a keeper comfortable with handling and feeding responses
This snake would suit someone looking for a mature, established corn snake with strong feeding response and normal defensive feeding behaviour. It is still very manageable with correct handling techniques and routine.
Serious enquiries only. I want it to go to a knowledgeable and responsible home where it will continue to be properly cared for. Open to offers
