Beautiful 13.1hh, 4-year-old blue blagdon gypsy cob gelding. A real head-turner with plenty of feather, bone, and traditional cob presence.
Lightly broken and riding away nicely in walk and trot. Showing a willing attitude and enjoys his work. Still young, so ready for someone to continue his education and bring out his full potential.
He is great to do in all ways:
* Stands quietly for grooming and tacking up
* Good with the farrier
*up to date with wormer
* Stands perfect for clipping anywhere belly legs or body.
* Loads and travels well alone or with another horse
* Perfect out and about at shows will stand quietly waiting for his class no matter if it’s 5 minutes or 5 hours and will move when he needs to
* Will live in or out. (I stable on a night through winter but summer he’s out 24/7)
* will live in company or alone isn’t bothered.
* Is fine with cars going by him beeping and revving this is something I’ve done with him since being a 2 year old and if you spook at it you where it.
* Fully passports, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and dentist.
Brilliant temperament — quiet and sensible. Happy to be led by children and will walk along nicely both bareback or saddled.
Does great in-hand at shows, stands still when asked, and moves beautifully — really catches the judge’s eye.
Kind, easy to have around, and a pleasure on the yard. Would suit a competent rider looking for a lovely project to produce further, or a family home with experience to continue his education.
Plenty of potential for a lovely allrounder, riding club type, or happy hacker.
Is currently as wide as he is tall due to not going anything this year. I last rode him a few weeks ago bareback round onto the main road after having 7 months off and he didn’t bat an eyelid.
