8-Year-Old Gentle Boy Looking for a Patient, Loving Home
Meet Alfie, a gorgeous, gentle boy with stunning ears who was rescued in Cyprus and travelled to the UK in 2019 to start a new life. Sadly, due to his owner's declining health, Alfie is now searching for a new family to love him as much as she does.
📍 Currently in Ilkeston, Derbyshire
Alfie is a calm, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with his people. He can be a little shy at first and takes confidence from those he trusts, but with patience and kindness, his sweet nature shines through.

• Sleeps well through the night
• Walks nicely on the lead
• Travels brilliantly in the car
• No separation anxiety
• No food aggression or food-related issues
• Lives happily with a cat
• Very good with other dogs and enjoys socialising
• Good with people and children, although he can be a little timid around new people until he gets to know them.

Alfie would thrive in a quiet, understanding home where his new family can give him the time and patience he needs to build confidence. He is a loyal and loving companion who enjoys being close to his people.
Because he has no reliable recall, Alfie will need to remain on lead during walks or be exercised in secure enclosed areas. He currently knows only limited commands, but he's a clever boy who could continue learning with gentle encouragement.

This decision has been made with great sadness. Due to ongoing ill health and frequent hospital admissions, Alfie's owner can no longer provide the exercise and care he deserves. She is determined to find him a safe, loving home where he can enjoy his senior years surrounded by kindness and stability.

We are committed to the lifelong care of our dogs and will always accept their return when space allows. In situations where space is limited, we will endeavour to rehome the dog directly from its current home.
Under no circumstances may the dog be transferred to another UK rescue organisation.
