Phoenix is a very high drive Belgian Malinois cross German Shepherd with extensive protection and bitework training. Experienced handlers only. She is a serious working/security dog that needs continued structure, purpose, and work. She would be best suited to a one handler home in a security or working role rather than as a family protection dog or standard pet home.
Commands she knows:
* FUSS – Left side close position
* HEEL – Competition/fancy heel work
* PIEDE – Right side close position
* SITZ – Sit
* PLATZ – Down/Lay down
* BOX – Go to crate
* WATCH HIM – Start aggression/bark alert
* STOP HIM – Bite command after barking
* AUS – Release/drop
* TOUCH – Touch palm of hand
* SOCIAL – Switch off command (still improving)
* UP – Jump up
* OVER – Jump over
* STAY – Hold position for examination
* FREE – Release from command
* OKAY – Food release
* YESS – Take toy from me during play
* GET IT – Retrieve/get object on floor
* COME – Recall
* FETCH - Fetch a toy which is thrown
* PLACE - Relax on place bed
Phoenix is extremely focused and obedient in public. She can walk calmly through crowds, around dogs, and remain locked onto her handler. However, because of her genetics and the training she has received as a security dog, she does not tolerate strangers invading her space and will react accordingly. She is social/ playful with dogs once she knows them and trusts them but will never act on her own accord. She tends to ignore other people and dogs. But loves to play fetch with her handler.
She takes time to warm up to new people, therefore multiple introductions will need to be arranged before any sale is considered. Once she trusts and accepts you into her circle, she can settle around a family, but she needs a strong sole handler she can depend on and work with consistently.
She has extensive bitework and protection training. Additional photos and videos are available upon request.
Phoenix will not go to just anyone. Serious enquiries only from experienced handlers who understand high drive working dogs.
The reason for the lower price is due to no paperwork being available. Also she is not viewable with parents so please ignore the “Mother” picture on display. Other than that, she is an exceptional dog with serious capability and is ready to work and protect.
