A little bit about me in my own words I’m a gorgeous, fun loving & engaging soul- that’s what Leesa & the vet said. I can’t disagree as I’ve bounced through the long months of not being wanted (after I was abandoned) & it hasn’t dimmed my spirits. Even though I’m now in a pound I’m a cheerful lass. For me it’s the closest I’ve had to a ‘home’ & I’ve never expected more than my lot in life. I’m happy with little & made up if anyone notices me because I love people. Whilst I’ve never been anyone’s 1% let alone their 100% it hasn’t stopped me from wanting a family of my own. I’m so merry around my own kind too & get on with all dogs whatever their size & sex. I do have a particular liking for older dogs & golden oldies & find myself generating towards their wisdom & experience in life. Their aura attracts me & I respect what they have to offer us whipper snappers. I just find their company so engaging. That’s me with winkle in the picture you see & she was 10yrs old and we played together. I’m unique and missing some digits in my front paw. As Leesa says, we just need a bit of buffin’. I’m not sure I even qualify for that because it’s a small thing to me & you can’t describe it as disabled. I see past it and I know the person who is right for me will too. I’m not limping so much now. I was just sore at the time. It’s congenital so I’m very used to it. The welfares promotional caption is:‘Scrubs up well’ adoptions- you don’t need a bank balance to love, you just need a heart. Dispel the myths & adopt a scrubs up well today.’
Dogs adjust to three legs and it has no future impact on them so what’s a phalange between friends?
I don’t notice that I’m a medium sized, brown coloured ordinary dog or that because I’m not a cute chihuahua that I may have less of a chance. I heard the rescuer say I was at risk as she focuses on dogs that are. I know you’ll be able to ask her more about that though from my point of view it’s all very confusing. Am I really left behind because I’m not pretty enough & could things still get worse for me? I thought I was cat walk material & safe. If you chose me I’ll bring my delusional cat walk your way and feel like a million dollars & I promise you’ll not regret it. You’ll be saving a life. I’m a proper little all rounder & no trouble whatsoever.
