🔄 UPDATE – BONNIE IS SAFE IN FOSTER & READY TO FIND HER HOME
Connie, now affectionately called Bonnie by her foster, is safely in foster, has been spayed and is showing what a lovely little girl she really is. ❤️
Her foster says:
“Bonnie is an amazing girl. Good with dogs on walks, but she prefers to have all the attention to herself.” 😄❤️
And perhaps, after years of sharing her people, being somebody's one-and-only little princess is exactly what Bonnie (Connie) would love.
🐾 Meet Bonnie (Connie)
Bonnie is around 5 years old, a small size French Bulldog girl who is sweet, affectionate, social and very people-orientated. She loves attention, companionship, walks and simply being involved in everyday family life.
✨ Highlights ✨
• SIZE: Small – approx. 6 kg
• SPAYED: Yes
• CHARACTER: Sweet • Affectionate • Social • Loving • People-orientated
• DOGS: Good with dogs on walks, but would prefer to be the only dog at home
• CATS: Has lived with a cat but may chase – preferably cat-free
• CHILDREN: Not tested with young kids, best with older kids 8+
• HOUSETRAINED: Yes
💔 Why Bonnie Needed Our Help
Bonnie lived with Hope for years, but following a marriage breakdown and major changes in their owner's circumstances, the girls were regularly being left alone for very long working days.
Stress gradually developed between them, and although Hope tended to step back, Bonnie could be bossy and jealous when attention was involved. Eventually it became clear that separating the girls would be kinder for both. Now in foster, Bonnie is doing beautifully. ❤️
🐾 More About Bonnie
Bonnie is a proper little companion dog. She enjoys her walks, loves human company and would be delighted to have her people — and their cuddles — all to herself.
She is good with dogs she meets on walks, so being an only dog doesn't mean she cannot have canine friends. She simply is happiest when she doesn't have to share her home and her favourite humans and she can stand for her rights to get all love for herself and not share. 🥰
She is house-trained, enjoys having a garden and loves relaxing outside in the sunshine. ☀️
🏡 Ideal Home
We would love to find Bonnie a home where she can be the only dog and enjoy plenty of human companionship. Someone working from home, retired or simply around for a good part of the day would suit her beautifully. A secure garden would be wonderful too.
💞 Bonnie is safe in foster now. What she needs next isn't complicated — her own people, her own sofa, lovely walks and all that precious attention she would rather not share. 😄❤️
🩺 Health Information
Bonnie is now spayed. No known medical conditions have been reported.
