Description
This is an incredibly difficult post for me to write, but unfortunately I’m looking for the right home for my gorgeous boy, Goose. He is a Ragdoll x Siamese and is just about to turn 8 months old.
We’ve had Goose for a couple of months and I absolutely adore him. Unfortunately, despite trying slow introductions, separation, reintroductions and giving everyone plenty of time to adjust, having a third cat simply hasn’t worked for our household.
One of my cats gets along with him and Goose himself loves other cats, but my oldest cat, Bean, has really struggled with the change and is still very stressed. I feel that introducing a third cat has upset the hierarchy that previously worked between my older two, and at this point I don’t feel it’s fair on Bean or Goose to keep trying to force something that isn’t working.
About Goose ❤️
Goose is an incredibly affectionate, funny and VERY energetic young cat. He purrs like absolutely crazy when he’s happy and loves attention. He is also extremely vocal – he definitely has the Siamese side when it comes to having conversations with you!
He has a huge personality and is still very much a kitten. He loves playing, exploring and generally causing a little bit of chaos. He also has a habit of biting your feet when he’s hungry 😂 so his new family needs to be prepared for a playful, high-energy young cat who still needs guidance and plenty of stimulation.
He absolutely loves the outdoors and is already harness trained, although he hasn’t quite figured out how to actually walk nicely on a lead yet!
Goose:
* Ragdoll x Siamese
* Almost 8 months old
* Neutered
* Microchipped
* Has had his kitten vaccinations
* Harness trained
* Extremely affectionate and loves to purr
* VERY high energy and playful
* Extremely vocal
* Loves dogs
* Loves other cats and gets along well with one of ours
* Loves being outdoors and exploring
I think Goose would thrive in an active home with someone who has plenty of time to play with him and give him the stimulation and attention he needs. I would also be happy for him to live with another friendly, playful cat or a cat-friendly dog, provided introductions are done properly.
This genuinely isn’t a decision I wanted to make. I love Goose to pieces and had every intention of him being part of our family permanently. We’ve tried everything we reasonably can to make things work, but my oldest cat simply hasn’t adjusted and I have to consider her welfare as well as Goose’s.
Because I love him so much, finding the right home is far more important to me than finding one quickly. I want to make sure he goes somewhere safe and loving, with people who understand that he is an energetic, vocal and slightly crazy young cat with a huge personality.
Please message me and tell me a little about yourself and the home you could offer Goose if you think you might be the right fit for him. ❤️🐈
