Meet Lucky 💙 Male 5 years old Large size Available for foster, foster to adopt, and adoption Location: Cheshire kennels 💙 Lucky has so far not been able to live up to his name but hopefully we can turn his life around. He was found on the streets of Romania but landed on his feet with an adoption in the UK. Unfortunately, this was not meant to be and he has found himself back in kennels. Lucky loves, and loves hard. Sometimes to hard. He is desperate for affection and once he’s decided you are his person you have no further say in the matter. You will have a shadow and a best friend for life. Lucky has so many amazing qualities. For starters, he’s a very handsome boy and he knows it. He walks beautifully on a lead and is very sweet natured on his terms. He does pay close attention to other dogs on his walks but doesn’t react. Lucky is very calm in his kennel and greets all visitors gently and comes over to say hello. He is happy to be left in his kennel overnight but gets distressed when left in the paddock while exercising even if there are other dogs around. Lucky is a very gentle and affectionate boy. He loves his food and is very treat motivated which will be useful when continuing his training. In his previous home Lucky did not take to the male so he would be suitable to a female led household who is around most of the time. He would need to be the only dog in the home as he can get jealous of other dogs interacting with his person. It’s worth noting though, that his carer in kennels has described him as “an absolute angel” and hasn’t experienced any of the negative behaviours with males and other dogs that his previous home reported. Lucky can live with cats, and has previously lived with children without issue. Lucky is a sweet dog, desperate for affection and would love nothing more than being your ride or die.
