Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my dog. This has not been an easy decision, but I want to do what is best for him and for everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
He is a strong, energetic dog who thrives on being outdoors and having space. He has a lot of drive and would be best suited to a rural or farm-type environment where he can have a job to do and room to roam, rather than a busy town or city setting.
I want to be completely honest about his behaviour — he can be reactive, particularly around unfamiliar people, and has bitten on more than one occasion. Because of this, he will need an experienced and confident owner who understands dog behaviour and is willing to continue training and management.
He has been around children and is generally okay with them, but due to his strength and behavioural history, any interactions should always be supervised.
Despite everything, he has many good qualities. He is intelligent, active, and can be very rewarding in the right environment with the right person. I truly believe that in a calm, structured setting such as a farm, he could thrive.
This is incredibly difficult for me, so finding the right home is far more important than a quick one. I will be asking questions to ensure he goes somewhere suitable. If you are interested please contact me on ************
