Approximately 4 years old ā¢ Ginger male ā¢ Indoor only ā¢ FIV positive
Poor Dodger was found wandering around someoneās garden and had seemingly been there for quite some time. Understandably concerned for him, the residents reached out for help. As always, we did everything possible to try and locate an owner, but sadly nobody came forward for this handsome boy.
While we were trying to bring him into safety, we temporarily named him Florenceā¦ until we realised āsheā was actually a very lovely little gentleman! š§”
Dodger has now been fully health tested, and although he has tested FIV positive, our vet is incredibly pleased with his overall condition. He is bright, healthy, and currently showing absolutely no signs of illness. FIV cats can and do live long, happy lives with the right care and environment.
And honestlyā¦ this boy is an absolute dream.
Dodger is one of the sweetest cats you could ever hope to meet. Gentle, affectionate, loving, and desperate to be close to his people. He will rub his little ginger head all over you and happily soak up every bit of love and attention he can get. Heās still really just a youngster himself and has so much life and love ahead of him.
Because of his FIV status, Dodger will need either:
š¾ A home with another friendly FIV positive cat
OR
š¾ A home as the only cat, with somebody around a lot to keep him company
Dodger has been:

āļø Vaccinated
āļø Microchipped
āļø Fully health tested
He will be ready to leave us in approximately 3 weeks.
As always, our adoption process includes a home check, and we do ask that potential adopters come and meet Dodger beforehand.
