Thackerey is a black homozygous longhaired Selkirk Rex. He is a very sweet-natured boy. His dam I imported from the Netherlands, and his sire is my own homebred Grand Champion. Very purry, the vet said it was like a pneumatic drill. He has been brought up around two large dogs and is used to them and all my cats. He wouldn't be suited to living alone.
His coat will require regular grooming. Selkirk Rex are not hypoallergenic, they do shed their coats, especially in Spring.
He will be neutered before he leaves for his new home.
