Description
Bertie is a wonderful dog. Great with kids and cats. Not good with small animals or livestock. He is incredibly energetic. He is a little anxious and does need someone who's going to be patient, understanding, and able to train him. He is hopeless on a lead, he pulls and has no real sense of boundaries off lead. But he is not aggressive, just bouncy and playful. He loves his cuddles. Bertie needs an energetic home, but does need someone around most of the time due to anxiety. Bertie will only go to the right people
This has not been an easy decision for my friend. But unfortunately she's really unwell and currently having major health issues. She's too tired to give Bertie what he needs.
Asking for money to ensure the right home, this could be negotiable to the right people. Bertie is a Basset, spaniel, beagle cross. All up to date with injections, castrated and chipped. Can live with other dogs his size or smaller, kids, cats. He would definitely be better if he had a doggy companion
