Description
Born: 10 April 2026 | Female | 4 kg | Small Crossbreed
Those eyes... ❤️
Meet KARA, the third of our three beautiful little sisters looking for their forever homes.
Kara, Betty and Julia came to us together after being born to a lovely little dog whose irresponsible owner had never bothered to have her spayed.
There were actually four puppies in the litter — the three girls and their little brother.
Sadly, their brother contracted parvovirus and died a couple of months ago. 💔
His three sisters survived.
Today they are safe, vaccinated, microchipped and finally ready to leave their difficult beginning behind.
And for little Kara, weighing just 4 kg, we hope there is a very big future waiting. ❤️
🐾 ABOUT KARA
🎂 Date of Birth: 10 April 2026
♀️ Sex: Female
⚖️ Current weight: 4 kg
📏 Expected adult size: Small — approximately 7 kg or under, although adult size can never be guaranteed
🐕 Breed: Small mixed breed / crossbreed
🎨 Colour: Tan
🐶 Dogs: Raised alongside her sisters and accustomed to other dogs
Kara is a gorgeous little tan puppy with floppy ears, a delicate face and the most ridiculously big, expressive brown eyes.
She is still a baby with an entire personality waiting to blossom once she has her own home and family.
Like any puppy, she will need patience, consistency, house training, lead training, socialisation and sensible boundaries.
A puppy isn't a finished product.
What you put into Kara during these important early months will help shape the dog she becomes for the next 12–15 years — hopefully even longer.
So we are not looking for somebody who simply wants a tiny, pretty puppy.
We are looking for somebody who wants KARA. For life.
🩺 HEALTH & VETTING
Kara is:
💉 Fully vaccinated
🪪 Microchipped
🪱 Appropriately treated against internal/external parasites
🩸 Will be blood tested before rehoming
She is too young to be spayed at present.
Her adopter will be required to arrange her spay when she reaches the appropriate age, following veterinary advice, and provide confirmation to the Rescue.
🏡 PLEASE READ OUR ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS BEFORE CONTACTING US
We receive far too many enquiries from people who fall in love with a photograph before checking whether they actually meet our basic requirements.
So, before messaging us about Kara, please make sure the following applies to you:
🌳 YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN SECURE, PRIVATE GARDEN.
This is compulsory.
A communal garden is not sufficient, and we do not rehome our dogs to flats/apartments or properties without their own secure garden.
👧 NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OLD.
This applies even to our smallest dogs and puppies.
🏠 HOME CHECK IS MANDATORY.
Depending upon circumstances, this can sometimes be carried out online.
🐾 KARA MUST BE A FAMILY PET.
Our dogs are NOT supplied for breeding, working, guarding, assistance or service purposes.
Kara will live inside the family home as a loved companion.
❤️ We want genuine Dog-Loving people who understand that adoption is a commitment, not an experiment.
🤝 LIFELONG RESCUE BACK-UP
Our responsibility for Kara does not finish on adoption day.
We ask all adopters to keep in touch with us, and we are always here to offer help or advice if problems arise.
Every Friends InDeed dog has lifelong Rescue Back-Up.
If circumstances ever change and Kara genuinely cannot remain with her adopter, we want to know.
She must never be sold, advertised, given away or passed from home to home.
She comes back under our care.
We have rehomed hundreds of Rescue Dogs and remain in contact with our adopters. Excellent references can be provided upon request.
🇬🇧 REHOMING & TRANSPORT
🇬🇧 GB rehoming — transport available to almost anywhere on the mainland.
🏴 Scotland transport normally available approximately once per month.
🏠 Mandatory Home Check
🌳 Own secure/private garden compulsory
👧 No children under 10
🐾 Pet-only home
🤝 Lifelong Rescue Back-Up
❤️ NO PAYMENT UNTIL YOU MEET.
📱 Phone or WhatsApp is our preferred method of contact.
We spend our days working and caring for Rescue Dogs and therefore have limited time for lengthy email exchanges. A telephone or WhatsApp conversation normally allows us to exchange the important information much more efficiently.
Please speak to everybody in your household BEFORE applying.
Please also consider your working hours, holidays, finances, landlord/mortgage restrictions and the fact that a puppy may be part of your family for the next 15 years.
We put enormous amounts of time, emotion and resources into saving these dogs.
Our time needs to be spent helping them — not chasing enquiries from people who disappear two messages later.
SERIOUS, GENUINE ENQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE.
NO TIMEWASTERS.

🧡 Kara's first home wasn't something she could choose.
Her forever home will be.
Somewhere, hopefully, there is a little garden waiting for four tiny paws...
a sofa with a Kara-sized space on it...
and somebody who will look into those enormous brown eyes every morning and know that choosing her was one of the best decisions they ever made. 🐾❤️
