He’s been described as an absolute “dream” in foster care – calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to have around. From the moment he arrived, he settled straight into home life as if he’d always been there.
Skye is very people-focused and thrives on human connection. He loves to follow his person around and be close at all times. Whether it’s curling up beside you on the sofa or quietly keeping you company, he just wants to be near you. His gentle nature shines through in everything he does – even his bark is soft.
Skye is a joy to live with, he is low-maintenance and settles beautifully. Skye sleeps soundly through the night (sometimes with adorable snores!) and enjoys a calm, relaxed environment. His foster says he’s so easy, it’s like he’s hardly there.
Skye enjoys gentle walks and is calm on the lead. While he’s still building confidence in new environments, he’s taking everything in stride with the right support. He prefers quieter settings and benefits from a slower pace of life.
He absolutely adores people. Around other dogs, he can be a little unsure if they come too close, sometimes barking or pulling, but this is not aggression – just a lack of confidence. With patient, positive introductions, he has every potential to grow in confidence.
IDEAL HOME
Skye would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. His ideal family will enjoy a close bond with their dog and be happy to gently guide him as he learns and settles.
He is the only dog in foster so can be an only dog or with live with other friendly dogs.

BACKGROUND:
Skye was taken to a municipal pound in Spain with his friend, puppy Arthur and came into our care. Arthur is also for adoption, in Romford being fostered by another family member.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella canis. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Skye is neutered. Please note that we will advise medical results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, homecheck and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
