Sadly, due to my health deteriorating, I’m looking for a home for my 5 female and 4 male button quail. They are all currently living together, but they have recently established a new pecking order after a female loss, so some may need moving between the two available houses/cages until everyone is settled into compatible groups. They will need a little monitoring and potentially some separating as their personalities and relationships settle. They will come with two houses/cages, their food, sand/dust-bath supplies and bedding, so you’ll have everything needed to get them settled. They have been indoor birds so may not get used to outdoor weather. The first clutch hatched in June 2025 the second in June 2026. Theyre a mixed bunch. One female was born with a wing deformity but shes the most happy bird whom I namesd wingly. These birds will require alot of work monitoring whom.needs to be separated from whom unfortunately Please not button quail need to be kept in a setting under 2ft or a roof hight above 6ft. They are easily spooked and can damage their necks if they cant see a cage roof close by to deter them. I absolutely adore these little birds and this is not a decision I’ve made lightly. I simply want them to go to someone with the experience and time to manage their changing dynamics and give them the best home possible. ❤️
