Description

AVAILABLE REHOMING REQUIRED- Wee Wilf lad at only 12.10kg a diminutive terrier X. offering walking & joyful companionship- Exmouth area A little about me in my own words (please remember that humans are not defined by their pasts alone- neither are we). Leesa spotted me in a municipality pound where I was at risk & whilst I was exuberant & confident sharing my space with puppies & adult dogs, I was also distressed & saddened. My confinement & predicament didn’t suit me at all & I called to anyone who might be my salvation. Leesa saw me because I wasn’t going to let her pass without making an imprint & when I saw her vehicle leave a little later on I was craning my neck to watch her go. Then I just hung my head down when she’d gone. I was so desperate for human contact & what all dogs want- love! Testimony to my nature having never been cherished or part of a loving family prior to the U.K. that didn’t stop me walking on a lead like I was at crufts with leesa & running towards her when I broke free once- we had only just met properly & you’d think we’d known each other for years - I didn’t get far- I just wanted out of that awful pen. Rather than cut loose I just ran a little then waggled into her arms. I really am an exceptional and affectionate soul. I have been described by my present owner as a little ‘nervous’ in some settings, on walks on a lead with some dogs initially & I can be reactive to the neighbours cat she says who teases me from their vantage point though I never used to be these things & I’m looking to getting back to what I was. I haven’t been in the U.K. long so I haven’t had chance to get used to things yet having lost my European home so this is normal considering. I’m up for rehoming because of the personal circumstances of my current owner not because of anything I’ve done. I’m a good boy and no issues have been reported which would have been as my current owner doesn’t want me to fail in my new home. They care about what happens to me. They just don’t have the same time for me now they said. I have been happy here. In the owners words below my U.K. bio & please watch the videos of my ‘journey’ from the EU to the U.K., Thank you to my family for caring for me. I hope the next one is forever. “Information about Wilf: He sleeps all night in his bed and has done so since day 1 He enjoys walks, and although a little reactive to other dogs we are able to manage this after seeking help from a trainer. This seems to be a fear reaction. He is good with children He is beginning to play with toys in short lived bursts He is affectionate and loves adult company He travels well in the car He can be left alone at home and has been for up to 3 hours with no issues He reacts to cats and squirrels He is fairly quiet, only barking occasionally. He toilets on his walks and is clean in the house. He loves sleeping on the sofa during the day He is easy to handle, loves being groomed He was very well behaved at the vet and was given clean bill of health Wilf is on a prescription diet as he had some tummy issues. This food has resolved that and he could now probably be transition to another food Wilf is still young and therefore displays moment of adorable puppy behaviour. Wilf can sit to command and knows to sit before his meals and treats Recall is a work in progress He is very food led He likes his walking harness and it is easy to put it on him” My credentials & details including the welfares responsible Vetinary checks Sex: male Coat: course haired Breed: terrier x Size: 55cm from paw to top head Weight: 12.10kg Age: 2 approximately DOB in passport (estimated) 10.34.24 Left EU December 25’ Current home a couple of months approximately EU passport so you ****************** abroad with her on holidays Castrated / neutered Complete bloods negative passport/ microchipped Vaccinated Health certificate Clinical inspection prior to departure Older dog savvy/ trained Children Men/women Dogs Currently living with grandchildren Good with kids Travels well Must haves ● ● Wilf has been used to a garden & must have one in his new home Someone present as he was used to that on arrival ● Other dogs would help as he’s going to pine for his home & wont understand what’s happening- so compassion, patience & understanding also key Contact details: *Face book: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/ 17Gog1itmT/?mibextid=wwXIfr *Web site: https:// www.breakthechainsdogrescue.com/ Email: ************ One more word Commitement fee & home check applies.
