Our wonderful Ava is due a litter of cockapoos at the end of this month, ready for new homes at the end of April.
I am a 5 star higher welfare licensed breeder under Dorset, whose standards are of high expectations. I Have 15 years of experience with this breed and many recommendations from puppy families. Being licensed means we are breeding legally, within the law, following the minimum welfare standards set out to us and more. Our expenses are high and we pay our taxes. But not only this, we are accountable so if you have any concerns, you can talk to our local council.
I take my role very seriously and have completed ofquel courses as well as courses on separation anxiety, canine functionality, first aid, yearly breeding conventions keeping us up to date on law changes and advances with regards to breeding and our expectations.
All my dogs are kept in our home, on our sofas, insured, fed high quality food and treats and live a very normal life with walks on the beach, in the country parks and visiting local cafes. We sacrifice holidays, family time and soft furnishings in order to raise our dogs and keep them safe. Small home breeders are dying out, alongside the experience care and knowledge that goes above and beyond just letting mum have a litter - and handing them over. We take it very seriously and try to do our bit to let people know good breeders are out there, we just need supporting so we can continue.
Ava is our lovely tri coloured sable cocker. She LOVES people and life. Such a nice person. Our Rafferty is the dad to the pups, also a very lovely boy who is calm and gentle and produces such lovely natured pups.
Both parents are health tested and we should could expect pups in black, cream, parti, chocolate and sable. But that part comes down to mother nature.
We don't sell our puppies from a photo based on colour at birth, we ask that you wait and watch them grow, and visit at 6 weeks old when the characters are more in full swing, so that you can truly pick a pup that will match your needs based on that and not on looks. we will send you weekly updates and videos via a watts app group. Every family so far has loved this process and are so glad they have waited to choose, often going home with a very different pup than they thought they would.
