Goldadors, also known as Golden Labrador, Golden Lab, have been around for about ten years and are a result of crossing Golden Retriever with Labrador Retriever. Although these intelligent dogs are not as popular as other newer crosses, they have proven to be excellent working dogs, whether it be for search and rescue, guide dogs, therapy dogs or bomb sniffing dogs, as they are never happier than when they have something to do. Goldadors are super intelligent and don"t mature until they are about 2 years old. Because they are so versatile, they thrive in a home environment and are especially good around children.
