This beloved family and companion dog comes in multiple generations to suit different needs: F1 Goldendoodles are a 50/50 first-generation cross with variable coat types (straight, wavy, or curly) and unpredictable shedding, making them less reliable for allergies. F1B Goldendoodles (75% Poodle, 25% Golden Retriever) offer curlier, wavy, low-shedding coats ideal for allergy sufferers. F1BB Goldendoodles (87.5% Poodle) provide the most hypoallergenic, non-shedding coats with very curly textures and minimal dander. Over the years, Goldendoodles have become one of the most popular designer breeds, which is understandable given their good looks and charming, loyal nature.
