Molly and Dougie are our beloved family dogs, whom we have owned from little pups. They were specifically matched, using the KC inbreeding coefficient calculator, for their breeding compatibility. They have an inbreeding coefficient (COI) of only 0.2%, which is way below the breed average. We waited until they were both 2 years old to breed, to allow them to fully mature. They are calm, confident, loving and devoted family pets and they live like royalty with us on the beautiful Isle of Wight.
They had their first litter if 5 healthy pups in January 2026. The pups were delivered in a large pen in our lounge and received 24/7 care and attention in our family home. Our babies mean the world to us and are handled and socialised daily from day 1. They are used to a busy family household with all the usual sights, smells and sounds. They come out of their pen for regular 'playtimes' and interact with us, our children, visitors, and all of our family dogs. They get to play in mum and dad's overnight crate so that they become accustomed to a crate. We do everything we can to make the transition into their new homes, and our buyer's lives, easier when they leave us. We also set up a WhatsApp group chat for our buyers and post pictures and videos daily, to show their progress and development, and we support our buyers from the moment they pay the deposit and throughout the lives of their dogs. Our buyers love our ethos and approach to breeding and raising our pups and would happily provide a testimonial for us. We are not commercial breeders; We pride ourselves in breeding our beloved family dogs in a responsible and compassionate way. We want to bring a new and impressive blood line into the UK Havanese population: a still rare breed in the UK. Their very low COI is a brilliant new bloodline here. We sell with breeding and export endorsements to protect this bloodline and the welfare of the puppies by ensuring that they cannot go to homes that prioritise commercial gain over their welfare and the 'good' of the breed as a whole. We are careful to choose only the best new homes for our precious babies and whilst we are sad to see our little brood leave the 'nest', we are also delighted to see them go to wonderful new homes where they will be treasured and loved for the rest of their lives.
If you are looking for a responsible family breeder, with the welfare of both parent dogs and puppies at the very centre of everything they do, and who raise pups as part of their family, please get in touch and we'd love to hear from you.
