Meet Bears&Hounds

We are council licensed breeders based in Northern Ireland, specialising in high-quality, well-bred family pets. We breed Bernese Mountain Dogs, white Pomeranians, miniature smooth-haired Dachshunds, and British Shorthair cats, with a strong focus on health, temperament, and breed standards. Our breeding animals have been carefully selected, with our large breed dogs imported from top European bloodlines and fully health tested, including hip and elbow scoring. We are committed to producing healthy, well-balanced animals with excellent temperaments. All of our dogs and cats are valued members of our family and are raised in a busy home environment with children. This ensures our puppies and kittens are well socialised, confident, and well accustomed to everyday household life from an early age. Our animals are maintained to the highest standards, with a premium diet, regular grooming, and exceptional day-to-day care. Puppies and kittens are raised with the same level of attention and dedication, giving them the very best start in life before joining their new homes. We offer lifetime support to all of our owners and are always on hand to provide advice and guidance whenever needed. All puppies can travel to Great Britain at 8 weeks of age as normal, and we are happy to assist with transport arrangements and answer any questions you may have throughout the process.
