At Brafferton Manor Gundogs my gundogs are more than just working companions – they’re family. I own several working dogs that I use on a pheasant rearing farm and on commercial shoots. My dogs are used for beating, picking up, peg dogs, dogging in and on the rearing fields. I specialize in Cocker Spaniels and Labradors, carefully raising and training them with the highest standards of welfare at heart. Every dog is given the love, care, and attention they deserve, ensuring they grow into happy, healthy, and confident individuals. My spaniels are full of character, energy, and drive, while my Labradors bring steadiness, intelligence, and loyalty to the field. Whether working in the countryside or relaxing at home, my dogs are bred and nurtured to be both skilled partners and cherished companions. They love the shooting season as much as they love cuddling with my kids. I believe that a great gundog begins with kindness, respect and a genuine love for the breed.
