We are a very close family, with grown up children and grandchildren . Our parents emigrated to England in 1956 from Hungary and we have spend many long summers has children on my Grandparents farm, as too have my children and now also grandchildren.
Animals have always been a integral part of our family for many years but dogs have been our passion for over 30 years, however the Pumis were introduced to us by a relative in Hungary , a working dog, herding my cousins livestock , this curious, energetic, faithful and loving dog was the life and soul to the whole family, we instantly fell in love with the breed. After months of research and deliberation has this breed is little known in the UK, we made the decision to import our 1st Pumi from Hungary and it has gone in strength from there... we find them insatiable. Although we have not been showing our dogs for the last 10 years due to family and work commitments, we will shortly be showing our dogs again, agility is also a focus has the grandchildren have taken a keen interest with our 7 and 9 year olds joining to the Young Kennel Club... watch this space
OUR ETHOS
To be the very best that we can : To achieve this objective remaining small scale is of central importance, this will allow emphasis to be place on individual attention, promoting good physical and metal health welfare for all our dogs. I have studied and have accredited level 3/4 cpds in Canine Health and Nutrition, Canine Behaviour and and Animal Psychology.
We are semi rural, but have direct access onto beautiful countryside so they have plentiful exercise , even meeting the horses at our local riding stables. Has they live with us in our home they enjoy plentiful stimulation in a normal domestic and family environment. They have a good and well balanced diet and are fed as naturally as possible.
