Meet EsteLuna

Welcome to EsteLuna! We are a small hobby cattery based in Orpington, South East London, on the Kent border, specialising in British Shorthair and British Longhair cats. Our cats are first and foremost much-loved members of our family, and their health, happiness and wellbeing always come before anything else. We focus on quality rather than quantity and only have a small number of litters, allowing us to give our kittens plenty of individual attention from the moment they are born. Our kittens are raised indoors as part of everyday family life. They are handled from birth and grow up around other cats, our dog, visitors and all the usual household noises. We put a huge amount of emphasis on socialisation, as we want our babies to grow into confident, friendly and well-adjusted family members. Health is equally important to us. Our breeding cats come from carefully selected, established lines and are regularly health and genetically tested, including for PKD and ALPS, as well as being HCM scanned. We are registered with both GCCF and TICA and are active within the cat fancy. A number of cats bred and owned by EsteLuna have achieved Champion and Grand Champion titles, but above all, we aim to breed healthy cats with lovely temperaments who are wonderful companions. Our kittens leave us at around 13–14 weeks old, fully vaccinated, microchipped and already spayed or neutered. They are vet checked, flea and worm treated as a precaution, registered with GCCF or TICA and leave with their pedigree documentation. New families also receive 4 weeks of Petplan insurance, a personalised goodie bag, comprehensive information on feeding, health and behaviour, and regular photo and video updates while their kitten is growing up with us. Most importantly, our responsibility doesn’t end when a kitten leaves. We offer lifelong support and breeder backup and genuinely mean it - whether you have a question a few days later or many years down the line, you can always come back to us. We are very particular about the homes our kittens go to and want them to be loved every bit as much as they are here.
