Hi. We are Ethical Breeders of the African Pygmy Hedgehogs. We got our first APH nearly 3 years ago from a local breeder who advertiseses on here actually. We were given hardly any information about the breed and the little information we did get was wrong. He came with no Lineage so again I have no idea if he is inbred or not. After I collected him she never answered anymore of my texts. It’s then that I joined care groups and realised how wrong I was to get my baby from such a breeder. So after absorbing as much information as we could we became hobbits Ethical Breeders. Each one of our Hedgies is our pet first the breeding comes second to that ALWAYS. Again we do not have a large herd so all our babies are very important to us. We love each and every one and work very hard to achieve very socialised handled babies so they are ready for you to take over where we started. Obviously sometimes no matter how much work some will remain very Huffy but this is the breed, hence the them being known as Huffy Hedgehogs.
