Meet Kinnaird Park Gundogs

Welcome to Kinnaird Park Gundogs. Owning and training English Springer Spaniels has been a passion of mine since 2007. Rather than breeding regularly, I breed only when I believe a mating will contribute positively to the breed, producing healthy, trainable and well-tempered puppies with the potential to excel as working gundogs and much-loved family companions. Since 2012 I have carefully planned a small number of litters, always placing health, temperament and working ability above quantity. Every dog I own is trained by myself, and each generation reflects the knowledge and experience gained over nearly two decades of owning and working spaniels. Kinnaird Park Gundogs meets and exceeds the Kennel Club's Best Practice guidance. Both sire and dam are comprehensively health tested, including hip and elbow scoring, annual eye examinations, PLA grading and DNA testing clear for SPS, PFK, DAMS, AMS, PRA (Cord1) and Fucosidosis. Every puppy also undergoes an independent veterinary eye examination before leaving for its new home, providing additional reassurance for new owners. Our puppies are born and raised within our home, where they experience everyday family life from the very beginning. As they grow, they are introduced to a structured socialisation programme inspired by Puppy Culture principles, including different sounds, surfaces, environments, weather conditions, enrichment activities and handling. Living within the grounds of Kinnaird Castle also gives our puppies regular opportunities to meet a wide variety of visitors of different ages, appearances and backgrounds, helping them develop into confident, resilient young dogs. Health, temperament and early development are at the heart of everything we do, but our commitment doesn't end when a puppy leaves. We pride ourselves on carefully matching each puppy to the right home and providing lifelong advice and support to every family that chooses a Kinnaird Park Gundogs puppy. Our aim is simple: to produce English Springer Spaniels that possess the health, temperament and natural ability to become exceptional working dogs, while remaining loyal, affectionate and dependable companions at home.
