Meet Malarassa

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Licenced breeder Welcome to Malarassa – Where Every Puppy Matters 🐾 Dogs have always been far more than companions to me. They are a passion, a constant source of fascination and, quite often, the reason there are never enough hours in the day! As a dedicated breeder, my aim is not simply to produce beautiful puppies, but to raise healthy, confident, emotionally resilient little individuals who are well prepared for life beyond my home. My love of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Poodles and other wonderful breeds goes hand in hand with a deep appreciation of their individual characteristics, temperament and conformation. I am also actively involved in the world of dog showing, continually learning, evaluating and striving to preserve and improve the qualities that make each breed special. Health is at the heart of my breeding philosophy. I invest in breed-relevant genetic testing and other appropriate health screening, carefully considering the health, temperament and conformation of breeding dogs. No amount of testing can guarantee a perfectly healthy puppy, but informed breeding decisions can help reduce known hereditary risks and contribute to healthier future generations. Perhaps the part of breeding I find most fascinating is early puppy development. From their very first days, my puppies follow a carefully considered programme inspired by Puppy Culture, incorporating Early Neurological Stimulation, extensive socialisation, habituation, positive reinforcement and age-appropriate enrichment. As they grow, their little world grows with them. They encounter different surfaces, sounds, objects, environments and carefully designed challenges that encourage curiosity, coordination, problem-solving and confidence. From wobble boards and labyrinths to simple training exercises, grooming routines and everyday household experiences, each activity has a purpose. I believe puppies should be encouraged to think, explore and discover, rather than simply be entertained. Small successes help build the foundations for confidence and adaptability in later life. Of course, genetics plays an important role in temperament, and no two puppies are alike. My aim is to nurture each puppy's individual potential, not to mould them all into identical little personalities. I have a keen interest in canine nutrition and its influence on growth, development and long-term health. Our puppies are raised on a carefully balanced raw diet alongside high-quality dry food, allowing their future families flexibility when choosing a suitable feeding approach. They also become accustomed to regular handling, grooming, nail care and other everyday routines from an early age, helping make these experiences a normal part of life. We take great care in matching puppies with suitable families, considering their individual personalities and the expectations of their future owners. I also provide guidance on continuing their socialisation, training and development. And should questions arise months or even years later, we always are happy to help. Ultimately, breeding is about far more than producing the next litter. It is about continually learning, making thoughtful decisions, respecting the breeds we love and giving each new generation the best possible start. At Malarassa, every puppy is raised with love, guided by knowledge and prepared for a lifetime of companionship. ❤️
