Meet Meliora British longhairs & shorthairs

Welcome to Meliora British, a small, licensed family cattery based in East Yorkshire, dedicated to breeding exceptional British Shorthair and British Longhair cats. My focus has always been on producing healthy, well-socialised kittens with wonderful temperaments and excellent breed type. Every breeding decision is carefully considered, with health and temperament always taking priority over colour. All of my kittens are born and raised in my family home, where they are accustomed to everyday household life, plenty of handling and lots of love from the very beginning. They leave me as confident, affectionate and well-adjusted companions, ready to settle into their forever homes. As a licensed breeder, I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of welfare and responsible breeding. My breeding cats are carefully selected, health tested where appropriate, and receive the very best veterinary care, nutrition and enrichment throughout their lives.
