My dogs are family. They are involved in everything we do. This I think says everything: My Dog, My Shadow Wherever I go, you follow near, Through every joy, through every fear. You do not ask the reason why, You only stay, you never try. Your paws may tread a humble ground, But in your heart, true love is found. You see in me no flaws, no shame, To you, I’m perfect all the same. I give you food, a place to rest, But you, my dog, give me the best A love so pure, so strong, so true, A gift for life, and all from you.
