Meet the Breeder Newmiller Retrievers is a small, dedicated husband-and-wife breeding programme run from our family home, where we raise our beautiful Golden Retrievers alongside our five daughters. Our dogs live as part of our family — relaxing on the sofa, joining us on countryside walks, and sharing every aspect of daily life. What began as a love for the Golden Retriever’s gentle, intelligent nature has grown into a carefully developed, ethical breeding programme focused on health, temperament, and true breed type. We are fully licensed, council approved, and committed to standards far above the minimum required. Raising puppies in a lively, child-filled home provides them with an exceptional foundation. They grow up confident, well socialised, and accustomed to noise, activity, and affection. Our daughters play a wonderful role in early socialisation, helping our puppies develop into calm, loving companions ideally suited to family homes. We are deeply proud of our dogs, our breeding programme, and the lifelong relationships we build with our puppy families. Our support continues for the entire lifetime of each puppy we raise. Our Breeding Programme Our programme focuses on responsible, transparent, and ethical breeding. All of our dogs are extensively health tested well in excess of Kennel Club recommendations, including: • Hip & elbow scoring • Annual eye examinations • Heart testing • Full DNA profiling • Low-coefficient matings Our lines include over 50 champions, featuring some of the most respected bloodlines in Europe. Every pairing is planned thoughtfully to produce puppies with outstanding health, structure, and temperament. How Our Puppies Are Raised All puppies are born and raised in the heart of our busy home. From birth, they begin our structured early socialisation programme, which includes: • Early neurological stimulation • Exposure to household sounds and daily routines • Age-appropriate enrichment • Early grooming and handling • Introduction to crate familiarity • Toilet training foundations (both outdoor and pad training) By the time they go to their new homes, our puppies are confident, well-adjusted, and beautifully prepared for family life.
