Meet Pretty Ragdolls

Pretty Ragdolls is a small family breeder of Ragdoll kittens on the Isle of Wight, with an occasional Ragcoon (Ragdoll × Maine Coon) litter. Our fourteen Ragdolls live in the house with us as family pets. They share the sofas, the sunny windowsills and the catio, and nobody is shut away in a pen. How our kittens are raised Kittens are born indoors, handled every day from birth, and grow up around children, visitors, the hoover and our settled adult cats, who teach them gentle play and good manners. By the time they leave they are weaned, litter trained, and used to being brushed and having their claws trimmed. No kitten leaves before eight weeks, and we decide the right age kitten by kitten. Health Every breeding cat in our Ragdoll colony is DNA tested clear for HCM and PKD (N/N), tested negative for FeLV and FIV, blood typed, and DNA screened clear for more than 50 inherited conditions. We are glad to show the certificates when you visit. Our cats are registered with our vets in Wootton, where kittens have their health check before they come home to you. What comes home with your kitten Microchip registered to you, birth certificate and family tree, health and worming records, vet check information, sales agreement, our written care guide and diet sheet, a scented blanket, grooming brush, toys, treats, food samples and a few Pretty Ragdolls keepsakes. Registration and neutering We sell family pets, so we do not register our kittens with the GCCF or TICA. Every kitten goes home on a written agreement to be neutered by six months and never bred from. If you are looking for a show or breeding cat, a registered breeder will suit you better. Reserving a kitten We always start with a conversation. Once we agree a kitten is the right match for you, a deposit reserves them (£200 for a Ragdoll, £150 for a Ragcoon) and comes off the price, with the balance due on collection day. If you change your mind the deposit is not refundable, but if your kitten ever becomes unavailable for any reason it is refunded in full. Many of our kittens are reserved from our waiting list before they are ever advertised. Coming from the mainland Most of our families travel from Hampshire, Sussex and around the Solent, and the ferry simply becomes part of the day: Portsmouth to Fishbourne or Ryde, Southampton to Cowes, or Lymington to Yarmouth. Viewings are by appointment. You collect in person, meet our cats, and go home the same day with your kitten settled in the carrier. We never courier kittens and we do not do car park handovers. After collection Your kitten comes with our 14 day health guarantee (we ask for a vet check within 48 hours), welfare follow ups at one week and one month, and our help for the whole of your cat's life. If you can ever no longer keep your cat, at any age, they come back to us first. When you message us It helps to tell us a little about your household: who lives at home, any other pets, whether you have had cats before, and what you are hoping for in a kitten. It lets us point you to the kitten who will suit you best.
