Hi, I’m Sandy! I run Feathers and Fields from our family home in the Hertfordshire countryside. What started as a passion for animals has grown into a small, thoughtful setup where I raise guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits—and the occasional surprise guest! I'm not a large-scale breeder. Hi, I'm Sandy 👋 Welcome to Feathers and Fields – our little corner of the Hertfordshire countryside. What started as a hobby and a way to keep busy has grown into something I genuinely love. My garden is now full of guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, and plenty of other furry and feathered characters that keep life interesting! Everything is raised here at our family home, so the animals grow up around everyday life, with lots of care, fresh food, enrichment and plenty of handling. I don't breed on a large scale, and that's exactly how I like it. It means I can give every animal the time and attention they deserve and really get to them prepared before they head off to their new homes. Finding the right home is important to me, and I'm always happy to answer questions or offer advice before and after you take one of my animals home. I love keeping in touch and seeing how they're getting on in their new families. Thanks for supporting my little dream. 💚 Instead, we focus on quality over quantity, raising animals in a calm, clean environment where they get plenty of attention, natural food, and space to grow. I'm hands-on from day one, which helps produce confident, healthy animals that settle in well with their new families. I am always happy to offer advice before and after rehoming and believe in finding loving, suitable homes for every animal I raise.
