Tuxedos Untouched
We are not commercial breeders.
Pets4Homes requires us to register as breeders because we have responsibly rehomed more than one litter from our two girls, whose kittens have become rather well known locally for both their beauty and their temperament.
Our home is currently shared with four settled cats:
Phoebe – 4 years, our matriarch.
Kitten – 2½ years, Phoebe's firstborn daughter.
Obi – son from Phoebe's third litter.
Elyon – Kitten's firstborn son.
Together they are a true family. Watching them live, play, groom one another, teach one another, and even stand watch over the boundaries of their home has taught us that cats possess far deeper family bonds than many people ever realise.
Our philosophy is simple.
A cat is neither a possession nor a disposable pet. It is a life entrusted to our care. We believe in guardianship rather than ownership, and we hope to find homes that share that outlook.
Every kitten is raised within the heart of our home; not in sheds, outbuildings or breeding facilities. From birth they experience gentle handling, conversation, affection, grooming, routine, confidence-building, and a calm, prayer-filled environment. They learn trust rather than fear and grow knowing they are safe, understood, and loved.
We have never viewed our girls simply as breeding animals. We allowed both Phoebe and Kitten the opportunity to experience motherhood before retiring them through spaying. Watching them raise their families has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.
Phoebe has now completed her mothering journey and enjoys a peaceful retirement simply as one of the family. Kitten is raising her final litter, after which she too will be spayed and spend the rest of her life exactly as she deserves, content, secure, and deeply loved.
Why Tuxedos?
We have developed a particular affection for black cats and tuxedos.
Generation after generation they have produced remarkably healthy, beautifully marked kittens with wonderful temperaments. Several have been almost perfect replicas of their mothers.
Black cats are too often overlooked, yet we have found them to be among the most affectionate, intelligent, loyal and characterful companions we have ever known. They quietly become the heart of a home.
We are passionate about helping black and tuxedo cats receive the appreciation they deserve and about placing every kitten into a home prepared to make a lifelong commitment of fifteen to twenty years.
Our purpose has never been to produce large numbers of kittens. It has always been to raise exceptional companions through love, routine, patient handling, and holistic care, before entrusting them to people who will continue that same standard throughout their lives.
Every kitten leaves carrying a small piece of our hearts. We therefore take great care in choosing where they will spend the rest of their lives.
