Tuxedos Untouched are not commercial breeders. Our cats are family members first and foremost, and every litter we have ever raised has come from love, responsibility, and a commitment to giving every kitten the best possible start in life. Our philosophy is simple: a cat is not a possession. A cat is a life entrusted to our care. We believe in guardianship rather than ownership, and we look for the same attitude in the homes our kittens go to. Our kittens are raised inside the heart of the home, not in sheds, outbuildings, or separate facilities. From the day they are born they experience gentle handling, true affection, conversation, routine, and a calm prayer-filled environment. They grow up knowing they are safe, loved, and valued. We have a particular love for black cats. For reasons we have never fully understood, black cats are often overlooked despite being some of the most spiritual, affectionate, intelligent, loyal, and characterful companions we have known. All but one of the cats we have kept ourselves have been black or black-and-white, and they have consistently become the heart of the household. We are passionate about helping black cats receive the appreciation they deserve and about matching every kitten with a home that understands the commitment involved in sharing life with an animal for the next 15–20 years. Our goal has never been to produce large numbers of kittens. Our goal is to raise exceptional cats, place them carefully, and ensure they spend their lives in homes where they will be genuinely loved. Every kitten leaves us with a piece of our hearts, and we take that responsibility seriously, and subsequently pass them on to amazing new lifelong carers.
