Meet Wendy D.

I live deep in the heart of the old Durham coal field where whippets were first bred as companions by the coal miners. Many miners were real dog lovers and shared their homes, food and beds with them so long as they kept the rats at bay, showed a good turn of speed and caught the occasional rabbit for the pot! Whippets (and other sight hounds) are very special dogs with very special qualities and easy to fall in love with. I lost my heart to them years ago!!
