If you are just getting started and fancy a pair of hens.. these are a beautiful couple..bred here they have been inseparable since being tiny chicks. We nicknamed then Hinge and Bracket as they are so busy together, always up to something and making us smile. If you were to let her sit you could have silky chicks.. she will lay eggs ( bantam size) and he will crow. They are used to free ranging and being in with other hens but they generally stick together. They have had free access to food and heat at night. They are a very pretty pair. Around 6 months old now.
