Description
Warm blood lovers this one is for you !!
Winnie (One Wing)
17hh 2010
Upstanding Black Irish Sports Mare
By Cavalier Carnival (Cavalier Royale)
Out of a mare by Clover Hill lines
Winnie is a classy mare who is said to have had a successful career as a younger mare between the dressage boards, over coloured poles and around XC fences ( you guessed it - she was an eventer)
Having recently been imported to the UK from Ireland she came to us with the plan to return her to full work and enjoy showing her the British countryside.
Sadly she arrived in a lighter condition than we bought her to be and I think she would benefit from a more one to one home where she can be given more time and personalised attention alongside gaining condition and muscle.
She is sound and has a huge uphill
Movement. Super willing in the lunge and has proven to us first hand this is a job she has plenty of experience in
Since arriving she's been bathed, had a trim up and has thoroughly enjoyed being in a busy yard environment where she can take in the passing of the day
Had popped over a coloured fence on the lunge and proves to be scopey with natural technique and a decent back end
Naturally she can be a little shy - I put this down to most recently been used to breed some quality ISH foals and been left to her own devices little. She is coming on leaps and bounds every day and already knows the sounds of our feed bins.
Win is a big classy warm blood bred mare -
So to the right home she would being class and quality on a budget. In a few months she will be a serious horse for someone to enjoy
She's not suited to a novice or nervous owner as green and needs a decent restart plan in place
Alternately she could return to the job as a proven mother to some exceptional youngstock
Loads and travels well we arrived to us on a big transporter and has since travelled in my trailer perfectly
Lack of time with a full yard genuinely means we cannot invest into her what she truly needs and deserves
Has been wormed
Turns out well with mares and geldings
No stable vices
No known injuries or ailments
Sorry no loans or trials
