Description
This is Winston, he is nearly 3 years old. He is fully vaccinated, chipped, up to date with all flea and wormer. He has all paperwork including bloodline.
Unfortunately, due to change in circumstances, he needs to find a forever home with someone that has time for him and the experience needed. He has been raised in a house with kids and cats. He is stubborn and likes things his own way but also loves cuddles and attention. He is excitable but does calm down fairly quickly.
He has a chicken and grain allergy so is on a dry food only diet with specialist food (wainwright grain free lamb) which can be found in Pets At Home and other pet shops.
Unfortunately he has recently started to become protective and has been known to growl and bark but only towards a couple of adults if they enter the home, but is fine if he meets them outside first and then they enter. We do have a special needs child and we think it may have something to do with that.
Due to my partner working full time and then me working and being a carer for my son (so many appointments etc) we haven't got the time to give him the love he needs and wants. He is able to be left alone for a few hours, but we find it unfair on him.
He loves being close to you all the time, but can become overwhelming towards cats (he wants to play all the time). He hasnt shown any aggression towards other animals or children, but with him being so playful and protective we think he would be better suited with a single person or a couple with no other animals ideally. Just want to be as honest as possible.
All we ask is a small fee to ensure he goes to a good home. He is house trained and crate trained. He has a crate as his safe space currently that will come with him as we find it helps him. Was checked by a vet 11/05 and was given full bill of health. Not due next vaccinations until November. Has been given top up flea treatment today and will be given wormer next week
