💙🐾 Could Fred finally get the happy ending he's been waiting for? 🏡 Fred is arriving into foster in Worcester this week, and we'd absolutely love to have his forever family ready to meet him as soon as he arrives. ❤️ This wonderful Collie cross has waited almost two years since being rescued, and after recently being reserved, his adoption sadly fell through. Now we're hoping the right person will finally see just how special he is. At around 11–12 years old, Fred is everything people love about a senior dog – calm, gentle and easy-going. He's a friendly boy who can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he knows you, he has so much love to give. He's happiest simply being with his people and enjoying life's simple pleasures. Fred walks beautifully on the lead, but he's not looking for mountain hikes or marathon walks. A gentle stroll followed by a comfy bed and plenty of fuss is much more his style. ❤️ He's great with other dogs and, when cat tested, politely ignored the cat, making him a wonderfully easy companion. Earlier this year, Fred had a full health check and his vaccinations were updated. An old foot fracture was discovered, but it causes him no problems and doesn't stop him enjoying life. 💙 Around 11–12 years old ⚖️ Approx. 26kg (55cm) 🐶 Great with other dogs 🐱 Cat tested ✔️ Fully vaccinated ✔️ Neutered ✔️ Health checked ✔️ Full rescue back-up provided Senior dogs have so much love to give and ask for so little in return.
