Washington 14.1 gelding 16years old
He is a Fell x Welsh
He really is a pony that has been there and done everything. I bought him 10years ago after breaking my back to help me regain my confidence and get me back riding. After this he has taught all three of my children to be the amazing riders they are today and now they have moved on to horses.
Wash has done endurance rides with myself, Pony Club/camp with both girls various ages, been hunting in his younger days, absolutely loves the beach and will go in any water for a swim. Jumps for fun from cross poles to 80 comfortably. He will never be a world beater but you will always have so much fun no matter what you ask him to do.
He loves to hack alone or in company. Can be a little spooky alone if you’re nervous yourself but otherwise will hack for miles.
Has mixed with both mares and geldings, never a bully if anything more of a wimp 🙈
Has two front shoes atm but has been barefoot before depending on the work. I clip him all year round using silent clippers and literally stands eating his hay. Can be nervous around vets, especially men but again he’s just a wimp 😅 does need sedating for teeth!
Never had a sick day in his life, does have a lump on his lip and has had it since I bought him. Never affected him, never changed size and all vets, dentists have basically said it’s a wart.
I’ve been as honest I can, have years of videos and photos. We know his full history before coming to us.
